We require an account so we can prevent fake reviews. But only your display name and your country are shown.
What is your display name?
Your display name is your first name. It's shown on all your reviews. Your surname is never shown.
How to change your first name
- Log in and go to My profile.
- Choose the Settings tab.
- Edit the First name field under How others see you.
- Choose Save changes in the bar at the bottom.
The preview next to it shows how you appear on a review. The new name is shown on all your reviews.
The First name and initial and Initials options are coming soon. Until then, your first name is shown.
Why can't I review completely without an account?
Login with a code by email makes it hard to write lots of fake reviews. Your email is only used for login and messages and isn't shown to anyone.
If you're worried about being recognised
- Don't write details in the text that only you and the company know, if you don't want to be recognised.
- If the company invited you, it already knows your email.
- If a company pressures you to remove or change your review, report misuse. You can do it anonymously, and the company isn't told who you are.
