Change your first name and display name

1. 1Log in and go to My profile, Settings.
2. 2Under Profile and the heading How others see you, edit the First name field.
3. 3At the bottom of the page, You have unsaved changes appears. Choose Save changes.
4. 4When it says Your changes have been saved, the name has been changed.

If you change your mind before saving, choose Undo.

The name is shown with your reviews, so the new name appears with all your reviews, including the ones you've already written. If you have a public profile, it can take up to 5 minutes before it shows the new name.

On the right you'll see a Preview of how one of your reviews looks with the name.

• Surname: The field is there but marked Coming soon. You can't enter a surname yet.
• Display name: Today you can only choose First name only. First name and initial and Initials are coming later.

• If it says Enter your first name., the field is empty. You need a first name; it can be no more than 60 characters.
• If an error appears at the bottom when you save, try again shortly. If you were logged out in the meantime, log in again and edit the name once more.

If you don't want to appear with your real first name, you can enter a different first name. It must still follow the guidelines for reviewers.
